Struggling with becoming a single mother of 2, Marissa Conklin (played by Janet Carter) volunteers to coach her son’s little league baseball team. But the task teaches her more about herself than it does about baseball. Being a woman in a male dominated environment poses its own challenges aside from coping with divorce. She finds an unlikely ally in her mysterious and troubled neighbor, Ryan (played by Douglas Jung). Her now ex husband, Tyler (played by Steve Peterson), has abandoned her, bored of domestic life, and she is left alone to pick up the pieces of a now broken family. Marissa comes to realize that she had lost herself in the marriage & hasn’t been truly happy in a long time.
